Breakfast in your hotel. Transfer to Umm Qais. Umm Qais was once the thriving Roman City of Gadara. Today the area is home to magnificent ruins which draw thousands of visitors each year. There are many roman sites at Umm Qais including two ancient theatres. Due to its hilltop location, Umm Qais is a perfect destination for absorbing the picturesque views of the Jordan Valley. From there you have a marvelous view at the Golan heights and the lake of Galilea, too. join a cooking class 2-4 Hrs An experience for guests to delve into making traditional dishes of Umm Qais’s cuisine that includes produce grown in surrounding areas because of its rich agricultural soil and copious rain. Breakfast in your hotel in Amman. After breakfast enjoy hiking of the famous miracle of the Umm Qais, Gadara was renowned in its time as a cultural center. It was the home of several classical poets and philosophers, including Theodorus, founder of a rhetorical school in Rome, and was once called “a new Athens” by a poet. Perched on a splendid hilltop overlooking the Jordan Valley and the Sea of Galilee, Gadara is known today as Umm Qais, and boasts an impressive colonnaded street, a vaulted terrace, and the ruins of two theatres, then transfer to Ajloun Standing 1250 meters above sea level is Ajloun Castle. Ajloun castle is a 12th century fortress that was built under the rule of the sultan and military leader Saladin. The castle is set on top of the Mount Auf and provides visitors with astonishing views of the Jordan Valley and surrounding desert. Over the years the castle has undergone many rebuilds and although much of the original features no longer exists, there are many chambers, carvings, and towers to keep both adults and children interested, dinner and overnight in Ajloun cabin.

After breakfast, experience Hiking Rock Rose Trail, which is named for the flowers that can be seen around the trail every spring, this hiking loop passes through thick woodlands, orchards, farms and villages in and around the reserve. It offers beautiful views of the West Bank, Syria, and the Jordanian countryside. About halfway through the hike, observe the wine and olive press from the Byzantine and Roman eras, and just before reaching the end of the trail, rest in the shade of a large Maloul tree. Visitors have a unique opportunity to enjoy a fun trip and see stunning views of the city of Ajloun and its picturesque mountains from heights of hundreds of meters. The panoramic view offered by the Ajloun cable car gives a unique sense of charm and natural beauty to the city and its surrounding area, then transfer to visit JERASH also called the Pompeji of the Middle East. JERASH has been covered by sand for centuries, the main reason why it is still very well-preserved. You will enter JERASH through the monumental South Gate and find yourself wandering around in a Roman city. You will walk in the Oval Plaza surrounded by colonnades, visit the Roman theatre and Byzantine churches with mosaic-covered floors. Enjoy a stroll along Jerash ‘main road (the Cardo) and pass by the Nyphium. Explore by yourself, how the Romans built the earthquake-proof columns of the colonnaded streets. Later on, drive back to Amman hotel, dinner and overnight.

Breakfast in your hotel in Amman. After breakfast transfer to visit MADABA, also called the city of mosaics, famous for the unique mosaic map of the Holy Land, which can be found in Saint George’s church floor. Nearby you find MOUNT NEBO, the place where it is believed, that Moses died as he viewed the Holy Land. On a clear day there is a magnificent panoramic view over the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley with the towers of Jerusalem visible on the skyline. You can visit here the memorial church of Moses. After that transfer little Petra, experience hiking in Little Petra, also known as Siq al-Barid, is an archaeological site located north of Petra and the town of Wadi Musa in the Ma'an Governorate of Jordan. Like Petra, it is a Nabataean site, with buildings carved into the walls of the sandstone canyons, dinner and overnight.

After Breakfast transfer to PETRA the capital of the ancient Nabatean kingdom. The long-lost city of Petra, carved entirely by man into the rose-red sandstone rocks, puts your imagination to the test. It’s a mystic and glorious place, an eternal tribute to a lost civilization. Petra was the central meeting point of the Nabatean spice routes. They are originated from the Persian Gulf, Western Arabia and the Red Sea. About two thousand years ago Petra became the capital of the Nabatean Empire. The city was so renowned that one of its kings, Aretas IV, is even mentioned in the Bible. The natural richness of the mountainous area combines in a superb way with the refined culture and massive architecture of the Nabateans, who carved their theatre, temples, façades, tombs, monasteries, houses and roads entirely into the rose-red sandstone rocks. No wonder that UNESCO placed Petra on its World Heritage List. We enter Petra by passing the Siq, a deep and narrow gorge, at the end of which all of a sudden dramatically appears the most famous monument in Petra: al-Khazneh or the Treasury. Maybe you will recognize it as the stage of the final sequence of the movie ‘Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade’. But the Treasury is just the start. Walking and climbing in Petra hundreds of buildings carved in stone and eroded through the centuries into fabulous multi-colored walls will be revealed to you.
